I tried Fusion of Culture’s Green Tea Rinse

So I have just finished TWO WEEKS of my healthy hair challenge and I am loving it so far. My hair is feeling so soft and moisturized and I have already noticed less shedding on my wash day. One morning, I even caught a glimpse of my hair in the sunlight and saw that it had a shiny luster. I didn’t even know my hair could do that!

One big part of this health hair challenge is using Fusion of Culture’s green tea rinse. It’s supposed to help moisturize your hair and reduce shedding. I use it nightly as a spritz to moisturize my hair. I also use it whenever I do the LOC method and style.

The recipe is simple. You need:

  • 1 teaspoon of loose organic green tea leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of loose peppermint tea leaves
  • 1 teaspoon of hibiscus

Let it steep in hot water for about 2 hours.  Then put it in a spray bottle and you are all set. Make sure it fully cools before you use it and be sure to keep it in the fridge so that it does not go bad.

I will definitely be continuing to use this in my hair regimen even after my official challenge is over. I have noticed that my curls are responding in a positive way. I made a short video for this post where I show the process of me making the tea and using it (It’s not a YouTube video). Check it out!

As an aside, I am loving this challenge. I have been focusing on styling my hair without wigs or extensions and I am surprised at how creative I have been. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments.

Thank you for reading!
